Almost 15 years in the making. Punk legends Scabs on Strike return with a follow up to the tummy tickling, knee slapping, Boy Scout camping secret, good time oldie feel of Prosthetic Pizzle. With hit song like 'Joe & Lud', 'Special Hidden Track', and an unreleased audio track of Scabs on Strike stomping the living shit out of their own idols PAVEMENT in a listener's choice contest on 102.7 fm Hawaii. (things, of course, only from the old album.)
Back in the golden shower era of music, S.O.S was asked to compose a theme song for the X-tra Hard show on X-96. After hours of deliberation, the only two surviving members (Jeff Baker & Dan Morley) decided on naming the song X-tra Hard after the show it was written for, X-tra Hard.
That, combined with the song itself being extra hard sounding and the content being about masturbation. "Diamonds have nothing on me. I could scratch glass with my peepee." and being extra hard to write, play, and record. The choice was clear. The song that will almost certainly never be released on CD would aptly be named 'The Dragon's Singing Pentagram' until the radio station insisted they rename it X-tra Hard. Needless to say, Jeff and Dan took the news more than hard.
The new CD is rumoured to be an interactive, name-it-yourself/create-your-own cover from several templates, homage to their fan(s).
